Biggest glacier ski area in Austria Tyrol
You can now book different event packages on the official booking plattform of the stubai valley.
E.g. Moreboards Stubai Premiere Package: ski ticket + accommodation + test card + party-ticket.
In Austria’s biggest glacier ski area winter sports enthusiasts enjoy the convenience of 26 gondolas and lifts. Guests from all over the world can easily get to one of the most fascinating mountain worlds of the Tyrol, which is only a 45-minute drive from Innsbruck. 34 downhills in the ski area amidst impressive 3,000m-high mountains offer the right challenge for all abilities. Beginners as well as advanced skiers can enjoy gliding down the pistes that are covered by natural snow and corn snow. Absolute highlight for the really fit: the 10km-long (!) downhill from Wildspitz top terminal (3,210m) to the base station (1,750m).
A Paradise for Young and Older Winter Sports Enthusiasts.
Families appreciate the top resort in the Austrian Stubai Valley also for its children-friendly philosophy. In the BIG Family Ski-Camp trained carers lovingly look after the ski kids. The Tyrol’s model family ski area also pampers parents – with top conditions. Children under the age of 10 years ski for free if accompanied by a paying adult. Not surprising that the Stubai Glacier was crowned being the most family-friendly ski area of the Alps by the ADAC ski guide from 2009 to 2013.
Ski Holidays with Snow Guarantee – Better Safe than Sorry.
Very reassuring – the “Kingdom of Snow” offers snow guarantee from October to June. Understandable that here is also the home of the Powder Department, a freeride skiing and snowboarding paradise with a difference, and of the Moreboards Stubai Zoo snow terrain park offering a variety of challenges for young freeride skiers and boarders.
Delicious prospects for all styles …Exactly! You can indulge in the Alp’s highest-located toque-awarded restaurant, the Schaufelspitz restaurant, just like in any other of the numerous restaurants that can be found in the ski area.
