Wild Water Hike
HIKES AROUND WATERS – EXPERIENCE WATER IN ITS PUREST FORM
From the TOP OF TYROL, the water divide between the Ötztal Valley and the Stubai Valley, you can follow the course of the water downhill. Observe glacial phenomena first hand. Big moraine ridges and glacial polish tell of the gigantic size Alpine glaciers once had.

MUTTERBERGER SEE LAKE
From the Fernau mid-station you climb up to the small Egesensee Lake, follow a section of the Stubai Höhenweg Trail to Mutterberger See Lake and from there you head down to the valley station.

DRESDNER HÜTTE LOOP TRAIL
Past small lakes and ponds the trail leads on a plateau from where one enjoys a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains and glaciers.
Walking time: 1 hour
From the Fernau mid-terminal a path leads eastwards across Peiljoch, from where one enjoys a fantastic view down to the cragged Sulzenauferner Glacier. The trail leads across the glacier tongue to Sulzenauhütte and past Sulzenaualm pasture and the spectacular Grawa waterfall back to the valley.
