Legs of Steel Park Shoot

This year the MOREBOARDS Stubai Zoo welcomed one of Europe's most famous and succesful freeski film productions. From mid may to early june, 15 of the world's best freestyle skiers gathered to film the closing segment of Legs of Steel's latest movie "#passengerfilm" on a perfectly shaped custom set-up.

The Legs of Steel gained worldwide fame with their highly acclaimed movie "Hurt So Good" and with a legendary super train in their movie "Nothing Else Matters" from 2011. Expecting nothing but rad skiing the guys came up with a one of a kind set-up. Here are some first impressions of the park shoot at the Stubai Zoo:

While the film production has now reached its post production stage you can already look forward to the re-opening of the snow park. Save the date: MOREBOARDS Stubai Premiere from 16.10.2015 - 18.10.2015.

The Legs of Steel will celebrate the premiere of "#passengerfilm" in Innsbruck in early October. A first teaser will be released in July!

Amongst the participating skiers were big names such as Olympic Gold Medallist Joss Christensen and X Games silver medallist Russ Henshaw from Australia. Stubai local Dennis Ranalter from Neustift and freeride pros Raphael Webhofer and Fabio Studer were also there to represent Austria, while Legs of Steel founders Paddy Graham, Bene Mayr and Tobi Reindl ensured that everyone had loads of fun while filming.

We will see most of them back at the Stubai Glacier next season when the top of the crop in snowboarding and freeskiing flood the Stubai Zoo to train during the third edition of the Prime Park Sessions.
