The Stubai Zoo snow park amidst Austria’s largest glacier ski area, the Stubai Glacier in the Tyrol, ranks among the best snow parks of the Alps in the autumn and spring time. Located on Gaisskarferner at an altitude of 3,100m, the snow park offers a 100% snow guarantee already in autumn.
The snow park opening Stubai Premiere which takes place annually in October, has become the place-to-be for all freestylers, who want to take advantage of the perfect conditions in the park early in the season, ever since its first edition in 2009.
Thanks to its south-facing location and the massive exposition to sunshine that goes with it, soft landings are guaranteed from dawn till dusk. In autumn and spring time the park presents itself with its XL-set-up on an area covering several hectares. The easy-, medium- and pro-line of Stubai Zoo are the perfect playground for freestyle beginners, advanced freestylers and pros. Having explored the snow park, one can rest one’s tired bones on the deckchairs of the Parkbase and chill out to the right sounds. Many or few obstancles, the Stubai Zoo offers plenty of fun features for spending a fantastic day on the Stubai Glacier in the autumn, winter and spring.
