Free ski bus in the Stubai Valley

From 15 October 2016 to 7 May 2017 use of all public buses between Schönberg and Mutterbergalm is free of charge for persons, …

  • who hold a valid guest card of the TVB Stubai (exempt are rides with the Nightliner NL18).
  • with sports equipment/clothes or regional ski passes to 6:00 p.m. This also applies to cross-country skiers, tobogganists and hikers.
  • whose ride after 6:00 p.m. is directly related to pursuing winter sports (exempt are rides with the Nightliner NL 18).

From Innsbruck to the Stubai Glacier by Public Bus

From the bus stop at the Innsbruck main station you can take the bus (line 590) directly to the Mutterberg base station at the Stubai Glacier.

A return ticket from/to Innsbruck costs only €7.20 for guests wearing winter sports clothes from 15 October 2016 to 7 May 2017. Watch out for the following stops: “Innsbruck” and “Neustift im Stubaital, Mutterbergalm”.
