From 20-23 April 2023, freeskiers from all over the world can show their best tricks on the Stubai Glacier in the fight for the last European Cup points of the season.
A strong, international field of participants is expected with freeskiers from Asia, South America, Scandinavia and Central Europe. The organising team of the German Ski Association (DSV), the Snowgau Oberammergau Association and the Stubai Glacier are once again staging a slopestyle contest. Also new this year is a Big Air competition on the last day.
The competition course is that of the Slopestyle World Cup in November and thus promises an event at the highest level. Due to the "pro-line course quality", the competition will be held as a Premium European Cup. This means that double EC points will be awarded. The competition has a particularly high value for the participants, because there is also an overall ranking to be won in the European Cup. The winner receives a personal starting right for the 2023/24 World Cup season.
Due to the high value of the event, the DSV will send its A-squad athletes as well as the athletes from the junior teams to the start. Fans and spectators can follow the performance of the athletes and the scoring on site or via live scoring on their smartphones.
