Glacier Experience Day: Information Hour on the Stubai Glacier with Optional Hike

Every Tuesday from 5 July to 6 September 2022 (in bad weather)

Meeting point: 11:00 a.m. at the Eisgrat mountain station (INFORMATION HOUR beachflag)
Joint uphill ride to the Top of Tyrol summit platform (weather-depending)
During the information hour you get worthwhile information about the world of the glaciers (duration: approx. 1 hour)

Afterwards for hiking enthusiasts:
Joint uphill ride to the Eisgrat mountain station, afterwards short break in the area of the Eisgrat mountain station

Hike from the Eisgrat 2,900m – mid-station 2,300m
On our joint hike with a hiking guide along the glacier path to the Fernau mid-station at 2,300m, our guests will get deep insights into the world of the glaciers (glacier levels, marginal moraines, glacier lakes…). Duration: approx. 1.5 hours.

Hike from the mid-station 2,300m – valley station 1,750m)
From the mid-station you can optionally follow the hiking guide along the beautiful path into the valley or take the gondola down. Duration: approx. 1.5 hours

We recommend sturdy boots, weatherproof clothing and sun protection for the hike. The hike is suitable for young and older people, excursionists and hikers. Free admission to the information hour and hike (precondition: valid lift ticket).
