The real winter adventures await you off the marked pistes and in the park, even the youngest ski and snowboard fans agree on that. That is why the Powder Department Family Days on the Stubai Glacier from 22 to 23 February offer a joint fun & action experience for the whole family. To ensure that all can enjoy the fun riding on untouched slopes and in the world of kickers and rails also in the future, the awareness for the dangers is professionally trained in a playful way and first powder experiences can be enjoyed.
Certified mountain guides and skiing instructors with plenty of experience in coaching children turn the powder into a playground and show how simple avalanche transceiver checks or the search for avalanche victims are and which measures can be taken to considerably lower the risk. You will also get riding techniques tips so that taking your turns in powder slopes will be really easy.
On the Park day, you will head for the BIG Family Slopestyle with the Austrian Ski Club coaches of Freeski Austria. After a specific warm-up training for freeskiing and an introduction to the Park rules, you can work on your first box slides and jumps with the coaches. But also if you have already passed your first steps in the Park, you will be well looked after – then simply new tricks are added and level increased.
