Every fall, since 2013 the Stubai Zoo snow park at the Gaisskarferner turns into a meeting ground for freestyle athletes from all over the world. The flock to the Pro- and Primeline to work on their skills for the upcoming season and to perfect their slopestyle tricks on the massive kickers.
The prime line, that is set up next to the Pro Line every autumn, is being used exclusively by the athletes taking part in the Stubai Prime Park Sessions. Olympians like snowboarder Sage Kotsenburg from the U.S.A and freeskiers like freeski veteran Jon Olsson from Sweden flock to the Stubai Glacier with their national teams not only to train, but also to film and the one or another brand uses the time to shoot footage for their upcoming ads and freeski or snowboard movies.
Please note that waiting in the line at the Gaisskarferner T-Bar lift can take a little longer than during "normal" operation, especially on weekends during the Stubai Prime Park Sessions. In order to reduce the waiting times, a so called "Single Line" is being implemented which is used by the Prime Park athletes. Please note, that the athletes wait in a separate line to fill up any empty seats to avoid single- or empty rides and to use the T-bar to its full capacity. And who knows, maybe you get the chance to ride on the lift with an Olympic champion?
