On 3,00m above sea level and approx. 30 metres below the ground, the whole family cannot only expect a tour of our ice grotto with our B.Big, but a also a refreshing cooling off in pleasant summer temperatures.

Not only for the young ones: gigantic playing at and in the 6-metres-high mammoth
Our mammoth B.Giant has used the last weeks to get ready for the big hike towards the Eisgrat. On the mammoth field it is already eagerly waiting for all the young and older guests to be climbed on, slided down and played on.

From summit tours to leisurely high-altitude hikes, with a mountain guide or on your own – there are sheer unlimited options for hiking on the Stubai Glacier. How about a hike around the idyllic Mutterbergersee lake amidst the impressive glacier world?

Climbing in the Fernau crag
If you are aiming high, the Fernau via ferrata near the mid-station offers numerous options for climbing from via ferratas to sports climbing routes at different levels of difficulty.

Are you curious to learn about the glacier, its changes and how the ski area emerged? If you want to get more information about the unique mountain world of the Stubai Glacier, you should attend the daily information hour in July and August.

After all these activities, you are sure to be really hungry. Our restaurants and cafes from Austria’s highest-located restaurant, Die Jochdohle to the Bar zum Steinbock or the sun terrace at the Eisgrat mountain station are looking forward to spoiling you.

Right at the ridge in the area of the Schaufeljoch, our Schaufeljoch chapel, which is anchored in the rocks and the ice, invites to take a break amidst the scenery of the Stubai glacier world.
