3,210 metres above sea level - just let your gaze wander into the distance, let your thoughts drift and breathe in the crisp mountain air. On a clear day, you can even see over 100 three-thousand-metre peaks from our plattform.
At 3,000 metres above and around 30 metres below ground, the whole family can expect not only a tour with our resident B.Big in our ice grotto, but also a refreshing relief from the summer’s heat in the pleasantly warm temperatures.
From a summit tour to a leisurely high-altitude hike, whether with a mountain guide or on your own - the hiking possibilities on the Stubai Glacier are almost limitless. How about a hike around the idyllic Mutterbergersee lake in the midst of the impressive glacier world, for example?
Our B.Giantmammoth has made the most of the last few weeks and set off on the big hike towards the Eisgrat. On the mammoth meadow it is already waiting eagerly for all the young and older guests who want to climb, slide and play with it again.
Are you curious about the glacier, its changes and the development of the ski area? If you would like to receive more in-depth information about the unique mountain world of the Stubai Glacier, it is best to take part in the daily information hour in July and August.
With all the activities, it won’t be long before you will get hungry. Our restaurants are looking forward to welcoming you, from the highest-located restaurant of Austria, Die Jochdohle, to the Bar zum Steinbock, where you can enjoy a quick coffee or the Eisgrat mountain station, where you can relax on the sun terrace.
And if you still haven’t had enough of winter and snow, you will be rewarded with glacier ice all year through.
