Protective measures on the Stubai Glacier

Dear guests and friends of the Stubai Glacier,

with 12.12.2021 the 6th COVID protection measures will come into force. The regulations for cable cars are as follows:

++ The 2-G rule (vaccinated or recovered) applies for the use of cable cars and restaurants. Children up to the age of 12 are exempt from the 2G requirement.

Only ski passes that are linked to a valid 2-G proof open the turnstile.
The activation takes place at our ticket offices on site. The prerequisite is that you have a valid 2G pass with you. 

++ FFP2 masks compulsory in enclosed or coverable means of transport (gondolas, cabins, coverable chairs) as well as in enclosed rooms of the associated stations. NEW: FFP2 masks are mandatory outdoors for all areas where the 2m distance cannot be maintained!

++ Keeping a stance of 2 metres is recommended in all public spaces.


  • From 12+ years a 2G-proof (vaccinated or recovered) is required.
  • The Ninja Pass (Corona test pass for children in Austria) replaces the 2G test for school-age children and adolescents, if the scheduled test intervals are adhered to, throughout the week, i.e. also on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
  • During the holidays the HOLIDAY-NINJA-PASS is valid:For children over the age of 12 who do not present a 2G document, ski passes will be issued for a maximum of 72 hours upon presentation of a negative PCR test result. This regulation applies to youth in compulsory schooling (from 12 to 15 years) from home and abroad. Details on the Holiday-Ninja-Pass can be found here.

Pay contactless with EC or credit card at the ticket offices, shops and restaurants.

Provide ventilation.

If you suspect an infection and symptoms occur, please stay at home.
