Top-quality brand produce and regional ingredients from Stubai farmers, bakeries and butcheries are used in the restaurants on the Stubai Glacier. This was also recognised by the GENUSS REGION ÖSTERREICH association, which awarded no less than six restaurants with the GenussWirt label.
All recieved the GenussWirte label by the GENUSS REGION ÖSTERREICH.
On 11 November 2016 there was plenty of reason for celebrating on and around the Stubai Glacier. The GENUSS REGION ÖSTERREICH accepted the Gamsgarten market restaurant, the Zur Goldenen Gams restaurant, the Eisgrat market restaurant, the Schaufelspitz gourmet restaurant, Die Jochdohle restaurant and the restaurant at the StuBay leisure centre to their illustrious group. All six restaurants on the Stubai Glacier convince with seasonality, regionality and Austrian hospitality and they offer a minimum of two main products from the Austrian Genuss regions. The businesses process top-quality, local produce, preferably from the Stubai Valley and if possible they are bought directly from farmers and local small makers.
