Summer holidays in the Tyrol

The summer programme on the Stubai Glacier promises an unforgettable nature experience from 20th June 2026, with breath-taking panoramic view and cooling off on hot summer days.

 

Summer season 2026

  • 20 June – 3 July 2026: Ascent to the Gamsgarten mountain station at 2,600 m.
  • 4 July to 6 September 2026: Full summer operation. Ascent with the 3S Eisgratbahn and Schaufeljochbahn to the TOP OF TYROL at 3,210 m.
  • 7 September – 27 September 2026: Ascent to the Fernau middle station at 2,300 m.

  There is no skiing during the summer season

What you shouldn’t miss out on:

  • The TOP OF TYROL summit platform at an altitude of 3,210 metres is one of the highlights on the Stubai Glacier. From there you can enjoy an impressive panoramic view across the Stubai Alps up to the Dolomites.
  • The Mammoth high-altitude playground at the Eisgrat mountain station is a family paradise. Children can romp about on the six-metres-high mammoth to their hearts’ delight.
  • For all who like being active, the Stubai Glacier offers numerous hiking opportunities, from relaxing family hikes to via ferratas and high-altitude tours.

All guests staying at a participating partner business in the Stubaital from 14th May until 2nd November 2026 will receive a Stubai Super Card! With this card you can use the Stubai Glacier cable cars free of charge for one ascent and descent per day (no transport with ski equipment).
