The Stubai Glacier is open for around 10 months a year. From mid-October to May, you can enjoy skiing here, while from July to mid-September, the Stubai Glacier is a popular destination for families, hikers, and via ferrata enthusiasts. Check out the current opening hours here.

Summer season 2026

20 June to 27 September 2026*

20 June – 3 July 2026: Ascent to the Gamsgarten mountain station at 2,600 m.
4 July to 6 September 2026: Full summer operation. Ascent with the 3S Eisgratbahn and Schaufeljochbahn to the TOP OF TYROL at 3,210 m.
7 September – 27 September 2026: Ascent to the Fernau middle station at 2,300 m.

There is no skiing during the summer season
