The family-friendly Stubai Glacier ski area is ideal for beginners, children as well as adults.
There it is particularly easy to learn how to make first turns in the snow. There are gondola lifts and chairlifts with easy entry and exit and an extra flat area for skiing for beginners at the Gamsgarten mountain station. TO THE PISTE MAP

In our ski area, children up to 10 years of age ski free of charge: free ski pass for children under 10 years (if accompanied by a paying parent).

If you have already some skiing experience, you will have plenty of fun in the ski area:

We offer plenty of skiing fun in our colourful, sporty snow world right at the mountain station of the Gamsgarten gondola. If you want to learn how to ski on the Stubai Glacier, supervised by others, you can attend the BIG Family Camp for Children and Youth and book a children’s ski course there. You can register for the children’s ski course, the BIG Family Ski Camp at the office of the Neustift Stubai Glacier ski school (right at the gondola exit at the Gamsgarten mountain station!

From October to mid-December there is a limited offer of ski courses for children and adults in the reduced-sized children’s area.
If you hit the slopes together with your mum, dad, grandma or granddad, there is a separate area in the BIG Family Kinderland, in the area of the magic carpet no. 1.
Moreover, all kids can look forward to the BIG Family Slalom at the Kitzlift, the BIG Family Boardercross below the Murmelebahn, im and in the winter the winter snow park and the BIG Family Fun Slope at the Eisjochferner.
