By car
To get there, take the A13 Brenner Highway through the Stubai Valley. From Innsbruck, the drive takes about 40 to 50 minutes, depending on traffic. Free parking and electric vehicle charging stations are available at the valley stations of the Stubai Glacier Cable Cars.
By public transportation
During the winter season, regular ski buses run directly from Innsbruck to the valley station.

The ski buses take you and your ski gear to the Stubai Glacier cable cars in Mutterberg every 15 minutes from numerous bus stops throughout the Stubai Valley—no transfers required. If you’re traveling from Innsbruck, you can take VVT bus line 590 to get directly to the Stubai Glacier.

Within the Stubai Valley, the free ski bus runs every 15 minutes to the valley stations of the Stubai Glacier cable cars. From Innsbruck, the VVT bus line 590 takes you to the Stubai Glacier.
What should I do if all the parking lots are full?
If all parking spots at the valley stations on the Stubai Glacier are full, there are alternate parking lots in Falbeson and Volderau. You can leave your car there, and the Stubai Glacier Bus will take you directly from the alternate parking lots to the Stubai Glacier valley station and back to your car at the end of your day of skiing. You can take any bus line or ski bus for the return trip, as they automatically stop at the alternate parking lots. Such exceptional situations can occur especially on busy fall weekends. As a rule, you can park directly at the Eisgratbahn or Gamsgartenbahn valley stations.
