Declaration on accessibility

We, Wintersport Tirol AG & CO Stubaier Bergbahnen KG, endeavor to make our website accessible in accordance with the Accessibility Act (BaFG) as amended for the implementation of the European Accessibility Directive(Directive 2019/882) on the accessibility requirements of products and services.

The Web Content Accessibility Guideline - WCAG 2.2 was complied with as far as possible.

This accessibility statement applies to the website www.stubaier-gletscher.com & store.stubaier-gletscher.com

STATUS OF COMPATIBILITY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS

This website is only partially compliant with conformance level AA of the "Web Content Accessibility Guidelines Web - WCAG 2.2" due to the following incompatibilities.

NON-ACCESSIBLE CONTENT

The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons:

Incompatibility with accessibility regulations:
Some images and graphics still have inadequate or missing alternative text. This violates the non-textual content success criterion. We endeavor to provide appropriate alternative texts for new content immediately and to revise older content on an ongoing basis.

The shortcomings of the following success criteria will be rectified by our content team and our technical department in the next development cycles:

  • For the WCAG success criterion of readability, we have randomly checked our website for foreign-language parts. Pages that take text from an interface or where a fallback language (usually German or English) is used still need to be marked correctly. If you find any other expressions that require labeling, please let us know.
  • Some text passages do not have sufficient contrast between font and background.
  • Some content in the press area is not completely barrier-free.
  • Content that is integrated by third parties (e.g. webcams, chat, social media plugins, maps, vouchers, tickets, accommodation, package deals, etc.) may have accessibility restrictions as they are beyond our control.
  • Our newsletter is currently not yet fully accessible.

The presentation of our websites is based on current technical possibilities and standards. We have randomly checked the order in which elements in the main content are technically displayed. If you notice any problems with the implementation of individual elements, please let us have your suggestions.

We have also randomly checked our website for audio and video files. If you find any other audiovisual content for which you still need text alternatives or subtitles that require interruption mechanisms, please let us know.

DISPROPORTIONATE LOAD
Some of our videos do not have audio description. This means that the WCAG success criterion (audio description recorded) is not met. We are of the opinion that correcting this would represent a disproportionate burden in terms of accessibility regulations. The video on the homepage, which is automatically played in the header, is not audio-described and therefore does not require an audio description.

This content does not fall within the scope of the applicable legislation

PDF documents and Office documents, mainly older ones, are not accessible. For example, PDF documents are not tagged, which means that they cannot be read and used by screen reader users, or only to an insufficient extent. This means that WCAG success criterion 4.1.2 (name, role, value) is not fulfilled.

  • C.9.3.3.2 - In some cases, no labels or instructions are provided when the content requires user input;
  • C.9.4.1.2 - In some cases, the user interface components (including: elements of a form, links and scripted components...), name, role, status, properties and values are incorrect or not set, or the user and their assistive technologies are not notified when these change;
