THE 5 MOST BEAUTIFUL INSTAGRAM PHOTO SPOTS ON THE STUBAI GLACIER
Are you out and about in our ski area and looking for the perfect location for your next photo? We have put together a selection of our 5 favourite Instagram photo spots on the Stubai Glacier:
1. CHAIRLIFT WILDSPITZ MOUNTAIN STATION
We start with one of the most beautiful Instagram spots in Tyrol. You are not only at 3,212m at the mountain station of the cosy 2-seater chairlift, but also at the highest point of the ski area. A fantastic panorama awaits you here with a 180-degree all-round view from the Patscherkofel, over the Wildspitze to the Dolomites!
2. CHAIRLIFT FERNAU MOUNTAIN STATION
Once you have reached the exit of the 6-seater chairlift, it is worth stopping to enjoy the breathtaking view of the Ötztal Alps and the Gaiskarferner. The beautiful mountain scenery is guaranteed to provide plenty of photo motifs for your Instagram feed.
3. CHAIRLIFT PFAFFENGRAT MOUNTAIN STATION
The exit of the Pfaffengrat 2-seater chairlift is only 2-3 strong pushers away from the Fernau mountain station. The special thing here is the incomparable view out of the valley. Atmospheric pictures are created especially when it is "bright above". In other words, the fog and clouds persist in the valley, while it is already clear and sunny on the Paffengrat.
4. RESTAURANT JOCHDOHLE
Did someone say Dolomites? With good visibility, you have a good view of the photogenic mountain group in neighbouring South Tyrol. But not only that - you can also expect a front row seat for the kickers and obstacles in our Snowpark Stubai Zoo.
5. TOW LIFT DAUNSCHARTE MOUNTAIN STATION
The last Instagram wiewpoint on the Stubai Glacier gives you another view of the entire ski area. While piste no. 20 "Kogelferner" shows its best side directly in front of you, the mountain backdrop and the view of the Stubai Valley in the background make for an incomparable photo motif.
