One family, one passion: snow and skiing! At the HOW TO POW Family Freeride Day, you can take your family ski day to the next level and gain your first experience off-piste.

Together with certified mountain and ski guides, young people aged 12 and over and their parents will head into off-piste terrain. You will not only learn the right skiing technique for powder, but also the most important basics of avalanche awareness, risk management and emergency equipment.

Also joining you is “Confettyboy” Marco Ladner. He will share tips and tricks and capture some of your powder moments on camera. Fun challenges, avalanche transceiver training and plenty of runs together make the Family Freeride Day an action-packed mountain experience.

PROGRAM

Sunday, 7 March 2027
Start: 9:00 am, Eisgratbahn valley station
End: approx. 4:00 pm, Eisgratbahn valley station

After the emergency equipment has been handed out and everyone has travelled up the mountain together, the day begins with an equipment check and an introduction to avalanche awareness. Then it is time to head into the terrain step by step: from your first runs off-piste and skiing technique tips to risk management and how to act correctly in an emergency.
