Off you go skiing at Easter with snow guarantee! Thanks to the altitude location of the Stubai Glacier, we will still have snow long after Easter. Our ski operation will probably continue until 21 May 2023 (subject to changes).
So still plenty of time for you to make your turns in the snow. Spring is beautiful on the Stubai Glacier and this for the whole family. Wonderfully warm temperatures and lots of sunshine promise fantastic skiing days.
For children there is the BIG Family ski camp, a separate children’s area at the Gamsgarten mountain station, the fun slope, the winter park and a lot more.
Enjoy all amenities that skiing on the glacier has to offer, such as modern lifts, varied slopes, delicious food on the sun terraces und the breath-taking views. Experience an incredible variety of snow and slopes to suit all tastes and abilities. Thanks to the size of the glacier ski area, you can be on the slopes every day and still enjoy varied runs and the healthy mountain air.
The Stubai Zoo snow park with its top event, the Spring Sessions, offers a large set-up with pro-, medium- and easy-line from 1 April 2023 and offers all visitors ideal conditions, no matter whether beginner or pro.

Practical tips for sunshine skiing
We have a few tips for your time on the glacier, you so that you will have fond memories of your sunshine skiing experience at Easter 2023:
- The sunlight on the glacier is very intense, so be sure to apply sunscreen several times a day, >LSF 40. Also apply sunscreen to the nose and lips.
- Pack sunglasses so that your eyes are also protected during the lunch break or time spent in a deckchair.
- Drink plenty of water. We lose more fluid at higher temperatures.
- Always keep your ski helmet on when doing winter sports, even if you are sweating and it is warm.
- Make sure the ski goggles are of good quality.
- Do not take off the gloves, but rather change to thinner ones. They offer important protection.
- Plan breaks in the deckchair. The altitude on the glacier should not be underestimated.
