Skiing with snow reliability in spring
It's spring, the sun is shining and the temperatures are getting warmer. And you still haven't had enough of skiing? Perfect, then come and visit us in the Tyrol on the Stubai Glacier - the ski area is open until 11 May 2025 (subject to change).
Thanks to the altitude of our ski area, you can expect fantastic snow and piste conditions until long after Easter.
Best piste conditions & less hustle and bustle during the low season
The best thing first: at the end of the season, there are fewer people in our glacier ski area than in the high season in winter. So you can really make the most of our numerous downhill runs and extensive, wide pistes. You have plenty of space for carving.
Whether you're visiting with your whole family, are an advanced skier or a beginner, there's something for everyone.

Am Stubaier Gletscher erwarten dich im Frühling einige spannende Events!. Du kannst am Wilde Grube Ride, dem härtesten Riesentorlauf der Welt, teilnehmen. Für alle, die sich im hochalpinen Gelände mit dem Splitboard bewegen möchten, gibt es das Elooa Splitboard Alpinism Camp. Wer seine Kenntnisse im Bereich Lawinensicherheit verbessern möchte, kann am SAAC Basic Camp teilnehmen. Für Snowboarderinnen gibt es die Shred Unit Snowboard Session & Freestyle Coaching im Stubai Zoo Spring Garden. Der ORF Radio Tirol Skitag verspricht ebenfalls ein besonderes Erlebnis. Im Stubai Zoo – Spring Garden findet auch die MBM „MELLOW MADNESS“ statt. Genieße die Sundowner-Atmosphäre bei Ski & Beats. Und schließlich bietet der Ski Austria Snowpark Day II im Stubai Zoo die Möglichkeit für Coaching.

Der Einkehrschwung gehört zu einem Skitag einfach dazu. Von traditioneller Küche über italienische Klassiker bis hin zu asiatischen Gerichten ist für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Unsere Restaurants und Hütten locken dabei nicht nur mit einer ausgezeichneten Kulinarik, sondern bieten auf ihren Terrassen die perfekte Möglichkeit, die Sonnenstunden zu genießen.

Until when can I ski on the Stubai Glacier?
Ski operations and the lifts are open up to and including May 11, 2025. So you have enough time to enjoy the end of the ski season in peace and quiet.
How many slopes are open on the Stubai Glacier in spring?
The ski area is located at an altitude of 3,000m and is therefore considered to have guaranteed snow until spring. As a result, a wide range of slopes awaits you in April & May for a varied day's skiing.
What is the weather like on the Stubai Glacier in May?
Spring is considered the perfect glacier season: warmer temperatures, lots of sunshine and great snow conditions.
How much does a ski pass cost in spring?Are there any special sun skiing offers?
As of 4 May 2025 our low season starts and from then onwards our spring tariffsapply. Children under 10 years of age ski for free all year if accompanied by a paying parent..
