Free ski pass for children under 10

A day of skiing together is something special—from the little ones’ first turns to challenging runs with kids and teens.

As a true family ski resort in Tyrol, we offer perfectly groomed slopes and family-friendly amenities. That’s why we offer free ski passes to children under 10 when accompanied by a paying parent.

Learn to Ski at BIG Family Kinderland

At BIG Family Kinderland at the Gamsgarten mountain station, children learn to ski through play and at their own pace. A covered magic carpet comfortably transports the little winter sports enthusiasts to the top. A kids’ slalom course, tire carousel, and snow mammoth ensure that even the breaks are an adventure. In the children’s and youth ski courses, experienced ski instructors safely guide the kids through their first days on the snow.

Kinderland is located right next to the Gamsgarten gondola’s upper station. This means the day on the slopes starts off relaxed for families, with no long walks involved.

Wide slopes for the whole family

With 17 blue runs, the Stubai Glacier offers a wide selection of easy runs for families, children, and beginners. Wide, open runs provide ideal conditions for practicing your first turns and exploring the ski area together.

Thanks to its elevation of over 3,000 meters, snow conditions are reliable from fall well into spring. This makes it easy to plan family vacations, weekend getaways, and the first days of skiing each season.

Fun Activities for Kids and Teens Who Love Skiing

Those who are already confident on skis can look forward to new challenges.

The BIG Family Fun Slope features waves, jumps, and steep turns. At the BIG Family Slalom, young racers can test their turning skills. The Speed Check and Snowpark offer extra excitement for older kids and teens.
